Cassidy Kent's FREE Valentine's Day Read

Romance Divas threw down the proverbial gauntlet and Cassidy Kent accepted. The result is Sonnet Seduction, a final entry into the Romance Divas E-book Challenge.

This beautiful cover was executed by Jax Crane, and it shows my gorgeous hero garbed as Pride & Prejudice's Mr. Darcy for the high school Valentine's Day Ball. Dressed like that, he might just get his Elizabeth Bennet, after all!

Check out the blurb below, then click here to download a free copy of this short story.

Twelfth grade English teacher Harper Alcott has her hands full this Valentine's Day. Between planning the school dance, verbally sparring with her colleague, Tyler Finleah, and the mysterious sonnets from a secret admirer, she has about all she can take. When she finds Mr. Darcy to her Elizabeth Bennett at the masquerade costume ball, things take a turn for the sexy. As it turns out the identity of her secret admirer may be more of a surprise than she's ready for.

I love sonnets. It's a fun form to write in. Are you a poet, Cassidy?

Oh, and if you liked P&P, check out the book I'm reading now and LOVING. It's called Mr. Darcy Takes A Wife, and one author's version of what occurred after the wedding. It's wonderful wonderful wonderful. But I'm not a Jane Austen purist, some of whom I gather hate this book. I having a terrific time, though. Stayed up way too late last night reading it.

I so wanted to read that book, but haven't had a chance. I'm not a poet, but I did craft one poem for Sonnet Seduction. It was kind of fun. :-)
